What made the weekend so special was not the size or style of the gardens, but the enthusiasm of the Upwey residents who generously opened their gates and welcomed visitors.

This year visitors were delighted to discover one of Upwey's hidden gems—a beautiful garden opening to the public for the very first time.

Carefully designed with sweeping lawns, colourful herbaceous borders, mature trees and peaceful seating areas, it quickly became one of the highlights of the weekend and received many compliments from visitors.

Its thoughtful planting, structure and attention to detail demonstrated how a well-designed garden can be both beautiful and welcoming throughout the seasons.
