"New Name, Same Friendly Village"
Welcome to our brand-new website! As we settle into our new name, our goal remains simple: Keeping Upwey connected.
Whether we’re tackling a big river project or just helping a neighbour change a lightbulb, this group is all about a helping hand. Take a look around, see what’s happening, and join us—whether as a member, a volunteer, or just to stay in the loop.

Upwey People

Our mission statement and purpose sets out how we wish to serve as a central hub for Upwey where residents can connect, stay informed, and take action on local issues—from protecting our rare chalk stream to maintaining the vibrant spirit of Upwey with village events.

A community is only as strong as its people. Whether you have five minutes a month or five hours a week, there is a place for everyone living in Upwey in our group. Here is how we work together to keep Upwey thriving.

Members

Membership only costs £5 a year for each household. Members can attend and vote at annual general meetings and any special meetings, stand for election to the committee, bring matters to the attention of the committee for discussion – and get generally involved!
