While the experience feels like a "bath" of sound, there is a fascinating blend of ancient tradition and modern science happening behind the scenes.
The Heritage of Sound
Sound meditation has been used for thousands of years as a tool for healing and spiritual connection. We incorporate authentic Tibetan singing bowls, crafted from traditional metal alloys, which produce deep, grounding harmonic overtones. These ancient tools have been used by Himalayan practitioners for centuries to clear the mind and harmonize the body's energy.
The Science of Entrainment
Modern sound healing works through a process called Entrainment. Our brains naturally want to "sync" with the rhythmic frequencies they hear.
The Shift: During a session, the steady vibrations from the bowls help shift your brainwaves from an active, stressed state (Beta) into a relaxed, meditative state (Alpha or Theta).
The Body: As your brainwaves slow down, your heart rate and breath follow suit, allowing your body’s natural healing systems to take over.
