The River Wey Society
The River Wey Society is a volunteer-led group that acts as the "eyes and ears" of the river. Their work is vital for our community:The River Wey is the lifeblood of our valley, flowing 5.5 miles from the Upwey Wishing Well to Weymouth Harbour. As one of only 161 chalk streams in England, it is a globally rare habitat that requires dedicated protection.


The Broadwey, Upwey & District Horticultural Society
Founded in 1878 by a group of local gardeners and nurserymen. A gardening club with around 70 members. We enjoy “growing and showing” and help and encourage others to do so too.

Upwey Music
Upwey Music is a community group dedicated to promoting live music in Upwey and the surrounding area. St Laurence Church, Upwey
St Laurence Church is one of Upwey's historic parish churches and has served the local community for centuries. St Nicholas Church, Broardway
